EDITORIAL POLICY
The scientific journal "ABAI CHEMICAL SCIENCES" published by the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, is a peer-reviewed international platform focused on publishing the results of fundamental and applied research in the chemical sciences, as well as disseminating advanced teaching practices in the teaching of chemistry.
Journal Focus:
- Current issues in chemistry and chemical sciences: inorganic, organic, analytical, colloidal, and physical chemistry, nanochemistry, and chemical technology.
- Teaching methods and modern approaches to teaching.
Journal Objective: To promote the development of chemical sciences and the teaching of these disciplines, publish high-quality research, and share modern methods and practical approaches in teaching and research internationally.
Publication languages: Kazakh, Russian, and English.
Journal Frequency: 4 issues per year (March, June, September, and December).
Distribution area: Republic of Kazakhstan, neighboring and non-CIS countries.
Review type: double-blind peer review.
LICENSING AND COPYRIGHT:
The journal publishes in accordance with the principles of the Open Access policy. Users are granted free and royalty-free access to the full text of publications, including the ability to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and cite them, provided the author and source are properly indicated. All journal materials are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, which allows the use of published materials as long as the author and source are correctly attributed.
At least 50% of the total publication volume in each issue of the journal is comprised of research articles by authors unaffiliated with the publisher.
ARCHIVING AND ACCESSIBILITY:
To ensure the long-term storage and preservation of published materials, the journal uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system. This system creates and maintains distributed archival copies of publications by participating libraries, guaranteeing continued access to research materials in the event of a publication's closure or data loss at the publisher's site. The use of the LOCKSS system ensures the sustainable preservation of publications as an element of scientific and academic heritage.
All articles published in the journal are assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which provides unique identification of the scientific publication, as well as prompt access to its bibliographic information and full text.
The journal's official website features electronic versions of the current issue, as well as archived issues from previous years.
