TRANSLITERATION RULES
The "References" section is a mandatory element of a scientific article and is designed to present bibliographic data in the international APA format. The References section is provided as a separate block after the main list of sources used and must completely replicate all sources cited by the author in the work, regardless of the language of publication.
To ensure the correct representation of bibliographic data in international databases, transliteration is performed in accordance with the established rules.
Transliteration of Kazakh-Language Sources
Transliteration of Kazakh text is carried out in accordance with the officially approved Latin alphabet of the Kazakh language pursuant to the decree "On the transition of the alphabet of the Kazakh language from Cyrillic to Latin script". For automated conversion, it is recommended to use the online service QazLat - https://qazlat.kz.

Transliteration of Russian-Language Sources
Transliteration of Russian text is performed using the BSI (British Standards Institution) system. To prepare the transliterated text, it is recommended to use the online converter Translit.ru - http://www.translit.ru.
When using this service, you must select the BSI transliteration option, and then convert the authors' surnames, names of journals, publishers, and other elements of the bibliographic description.
Structure of a Bibliographic Reference
For publications in the Kazakh and Russian languages, the following structure of a bibliographic entry is recommended:
Author(s). Transliterated title of the publication [English translation of the title]. Transliterated title of the periodical/journal [English translation of the periodical/journal title]. Year of publication. Volume (Issue). Pages.
Formatting Example
Ivanov I.I., Petrov P.P. Formirovanie professional'nykh kompetentsii budushchikh pedagogov [Formation of Professional Competencies of Future Teachers]. Vestnik Kazakhskogo natsional'nogo universiteta imeni al'-Farabi. Seriya pedagogicheskikh nauk [Journal of Educational Sciences]. 2024. Vol. 79 (3). pp. 45–56.
The English translation of the title is placed in square brackets immediately following the transliterated version and does not replace the original source title. If a DOI is available, it must be indicated at the end of the bibliographic description.
Author's Responsibility
The author of the article bears personal responsibility for the accuracy of bibliographic data, the correctness of transliteration, the quality of the source title translations into English, as well as for the correspondence of the References section to the main list of cited literature. Before including a source in the reference list, authors are advised to verify the correct spelling of proper names, geographical designations, and special terms. The editorial board reserves the right to make technical corrections required to align bibliographic references with the uniform requirements of the journal.
A correctly formatted References section is a mandatory prerequisite for accepting an article for review and contributes to increasing the international visibility and citation frequency of published scientific works.
